- 2-3 thin slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 large tomato slices, beefsteak or heirloom, cut about 1/4” thick
- 2 tablespoons fresh pesto (click here for our Roasted Garlic Pesto recipe)
- 2 slices whole wheat or multi-grain bread
- pinch of sea salt
Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto on each slice of bread. On one slice, layer the mozzarella and tomato, followed by the sea salt. Top with the other slice of bread and grill in a toaster oven or sandwich press.
