- 1 1/2 cups water
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime zest
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, just until sugar is dissolved. Remove from hear and cool completely.
When cooled, combine with zest, tequila, and lime juice, and then transfer mixture to your ice cream machine and churn to manufacturer’s instructions. Then freeze until firm about 1 hour.
