Tomato Watermelon Sorbet


  • 2 medium/ tomatoes
  • 1/2 small watermelon
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lime juice

To Make: 
Heat the water and sugar over medium heat until dissolved. Remove from the heat and add basil (whole, or chopped if you prefer a stronger flavor) and let rest.

Meanwhile, add the tomatoes and cut up watermelon to a food processor and pulse until smooth. Combine with the now basil-infused syrup, add in the lime juice, then add the mix to an ice cream maker and churn to the manufacturer’s instructions.
