Strawberry Sorbet


  • 4 pints strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup

To Make:

Prepare ice cream machine.

Add the strawberries and lime juice to a food processor and puree until smooth. Pass the mix through a sieve to remove all the seeds and set aside.

In a saucepan bring the water and sugar to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to a simmer and allow all of the sugar to dissolve, about 3 minutes. It is important to not stir the sugar at this time. Set aside to cool completely.

Once the sugar has cooled add it and the corn syrup to the strawberry puree. Add the entire mix into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to achieve your desired consistency.
