Apple Cinnamon Ice Cream


  • 2 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large apples
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons total (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc)

To Make: 
Which together the cream, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, powdered sugar, and salt. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.

Peel, core, and dice the apples. Melt the butter in a large skillet and then add the apples, brown sugar, and spices, cooking for about 3 minutes until tender. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Churn cream mixture to ice cream machine manufacturer’s instructions, only adding the apple mix during the last few minutes. Transfer to a container and freeze until set.
