Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts, quartered
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- Fresh cracked pepper
- Salt
To Make:
Steam brussels sprouts for about 5 minutes, or until they just start to soften.
Crack pepper directly on to the bacon and press in firmly, flip and repeat. Slowly cook the bacon in a large saute pan over medium heat until browned. Remove the bacon to drain and crumble and pour off all but one tablespoon of the drippings.
Add the brussels sprouts to the pan and coat with the drippings, cook over medium heat about 3-4 minutes or until they are tender.
Remove from pan and toss with the crumbled bacon and a pinch of salt.
