Traditional Meatloaf

1-1/2 LBS ground beef
1 egg
3/4 cups dry oatmeal, quick
1/2 cup diced onion
3/4 cups milk
1-1/4 TSP salt
1/4 TSP pepper

1/3 cup ketchup
2 TBSP brown sugar
1 TBSP prepared yellow mustard

To Make:

Mix oatmeal, meat, egg, milk, onion, salt and pepper together. Press into loaf pan.

Mix the topping in a separate bowl. Pour the topping over the meatloaf.

Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

When the meatloaf is cooked, drain off any grease. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
