Beer Bread

Beer BreadIngredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 ounces lager style beer

To Make:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat an 8-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry mix. Pour beer and oil into the well, and stir in dry mix until just blended. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
