Chocolate Chip Scones


  • 3 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon, plus 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

To Make:

Preheat oven to 375.

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the chocolate chips and heavy cream until just combined. Gently knead dough on floured surface for about 2 minutes. Divide into thirds.

Working one at a time, flatten each ball into about a 7 inch circle and then cut into eighths. Place onto a greased cookie sheet and brush with melted butter and top with a sprinkle of sugar.

Bake 15-20 minutes until lightly browned.
