April 26, 2006
Dear Howie,
Our Nineteenth Annual Community Seder for People with Developmental Disabilities which was held on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford was a HUGE success, thanks to you!
On behalf of Westchester Jewish Community Services’ Havorah Program, Temple Shaaray Tefila and Jewish Women International, we sincerely thank you for your donation of two large pans of matzoh kugel. Your contribution is, of course, tax-deductible.
We are grateful to be able to coordinate this event with donations from so many generous contributors. This is truly a community endeavor. We wish you could have been there to experience what our guests feel when they taste the food, see the decorations, participate in the service and feel the joy of this Passover celebration. We enclose some press clippings to share the spirit of that evening.
Without your support, this fabulous seder would not have become a reality and a wonderful tradition for our guests and volunteers. We look forward to working with you next year as we have for so many previous years. We hope you can join us on the night of our 20th anniversary seder next year. Thanks again!
With every good wish, Laura Copel – Jewish Women International Gail Oliver – WJCS Havorah Linda Trepel-Cantor – Temple Shaaray Tefila
